Shammi met Geeta Bali on film set of Rangeen Raaten and in just four months they got married near Mumbai’s Napean Sea Road at Banganga Temples and couple blessed with two children Aditya Raj Kapoor and Kanchan.
But Geeta Bali suffered from smallpox and died in 1965. Later, Shammi got married to Neila Devi in 1969 who came from Bhavnagar’s Royal family.
Apart from the marriages, Shammi gained limelight due to his affairs with Egyptian Actress Nadia Gamal but sooner they part their ways because she went back to her country.
In 2011 during an Interview, actress Mumtaz also revealed that Shammi proposed her for marriage during the shooting of Brahmachari but she refused politely because Shammi conditioned her to leave her film career after marriage.
Also, a socialite named Bina Ramani was also claimed at a time that she was in affair with Shammi once. Shammi was also a big devotee towards Haidakhan Baba.
